VerveSheets is a product of EvlarSoft LLC. Your use of VerveSheets is governed by these terms together with the EvlarSoft master Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy, which are incorporated by reference and apply to every EvlarSoft product. Where these terms address something specific to VerveSheets, these terms control; for everything else, the master terms apply.
1. Who we are
VerveSheets (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a trade name of EvlarSoft LLC, a limited liability company headquartered in Lee's Summit, Missouri, United States. These terms apply to vervesheets.com and its subdomains, the VerveSheets add-on for Google Sheets, and the VerveSheets add-in for Microsoft Excel (together, the “Service”).
2. What the Service does
VerveSheets provides spreadsheet functions (such as =VERVE(...)) that fetch live, real-world data — weather, finance, validation, lookups, and more — directly into the cells of your spreadsheet. The data is delivered by the APIVerve platform, operated by the same company. A single account works across VerveSheets, APIVerve, and the other Verve products.
3. Accounts and API keys
Using the extensions requires an account and an API key, managed through the shared dashboard at dashboard.vervesheets.com. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Do not share keys between organizations or publish them where others can extract them. Note that anyone with edit access to a spreadsheet where the add-on is authorized can trigger functions that consume your credits.
4. Plans, credits, and billing
- Each function call consumes credits from your plan; per-source costs are shown in the source directory and on the pricing page.
- Unused credits do not roll over; balances reset each billing cycle.
- When your credits are exhausted, functions return an error until credits are replenished or your plan renews.
- Paid plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee per the Refund Policy.
- The free tier is for evaluation and non-commercial use; sustained commercial use requires a paid plan.
5. Acceptable use of spreadsheet functions
In addition to the Acceptable Use Policy, the following apply specifically to the extensions:
- Do not use functions, auto-refresh, or scripts to systematically bulk-extract, scrape, or harvest data in order to build datasets, populate databases, or resell the data in any form.
- Do not attempt to circumvent credit metering, rate limits, or per-plan feature gates.
- Do not embed the Service in a product that resells raw data access without a written partnership agreement — contact us if that's what you need.
6. Marketplace terms
The Google Sheets add-on is distributed through the Google Workspace Marketplace and your use of it is additionally subject to Google's applicable terms. The Excel add-in is distributed through Microsoft AppSource and is additionally subject to Microsoft's applicable terms. Google and Microsoft are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the Service.
7. Data accuracy and no professional advice
Data returned into your spreadsheet originates from a wide range of upstream sources. We work hard to keep it fresh and correct, but we do not warrant that any value is accurate, complete, or current, and nothing the Service returns is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or other professional advice. Validate data independently before relying on it for decisions.
8. Availability, warranty, and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Uptime commitments for paid plans are described in our SLA. The disclaimers of warranty, limitation of liability, indemnification, arbitration, and class-action waiver in the EvlarSoft master Terms of Service apply in full to VerveSheets.
9. Privacy
How we handle your data — including the specific handling of Google user data by the Sheets add-on — is described in the VerveSheets Privacy Policy and the EvlarSoft Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
You can stop using the extensions at any time by uninstalling them and may delete your account from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or the incorporated policies, as described in the master terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the date above; material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
