Google SheetsMicrosoft ExcelExcel OnlineSheets mobile— one function: VERVE() in Sheets, VERVE.CALL() in Excel

Install once. Type a function. Watch cells fill.

No API keys to wrangle, no scripts, no exports. VerveSheets adds one function to your spreadsheet and connects it to live data behind a single account.

01

Add the extension

Install from the Google Workspace Marketplace or Excel add-in store and sign in with your Verve key — one click.

02

Type =VERVE(…)

Call any source by name with plain arguments — a city, a ticker, a domain. Autocomplete suggests the source and its fields as you type.

=VERVE("weatherforecast","Paris","tempC")
03

Stays fresh on its own

Cells recalculate on a schedule you choose, so a model built once keeps updating itself — every open, every hour, or every 30 minutes.

Everything you'd otherwise paste in by hand.

The same production data engine behind APIVerve, addressable from a cell. Pick a category, pass a name, get a value — one function reaches all of it.

Money & markets

Exchange rates, currency conversion, crypto and metal prices, stock indices and earnings — refreshed to the minute.

If you can write a formula, you can pull live data.

Reference cells like any spreadsheet function, drag to fill a whole column, and nest it inside the formulas you already use.

  • Range-aware — point it at a column of cities and it fills the whole column in one call.
  • Composable — wrap it in SUM, IF, or a chart like any other value.
  • One key powers every cell, in every sheet, across Google & Excel.

Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know before your first cell goes live.

What is VerveSheets?
A spreadsheet add-on that puts 250+ live data sources one function away. Type =VERVE() in Google Sheets or Excel and pull weather, currency, stocks, geo, and more straight into your cells — no code, no copy-paste, no export scripts.
Which spreadsheets does it work in?
Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, from the same account and key. The =VERVE() function behaves identically in both, so a workbook built in one keeps working in the other.
Do I need to know formulas or code?
No. If you can type a formula like =SUM(), you can use =VERVE(). Autocomplete suggests the source and arguments as you type, and you can fill a whole column from one call by passing it a range.
Does the data refresh on its own?
Yes. Cells can auto-refresh on a schedule — from every 30 minutes up to daily depending on your plan — so a dashboard stays live without you touching it. Manual refresh is always available too.
What shows on my bill?
VerveSheets runs on APIVerve, our production data engine, so invoices and card statements read APIVERVE. Same account, same key, same rails — nothing else changes.

Your next spreadsheet can update itself. Add the extension, type one function, and never paste static data again.
