Live data in any Sheets cell
VerveSheets is a Google Sheets add-on built on one function. Type =VERVE("source", …) in any cell and pull 250+ live sources straight into your spreadsheet — auto-refreshing, no Apps Script, no copy-paste. Point it at a range and it fills the whole column in a single call.

One function, no scripts
The same =VERVE() call, the same key, the same 250+ sources — and a whole column from one range.
Fill a column in one call
Point =VERVE() at a range instead of a cell and it resolves every row in a single call, then spills the answers down the column. No dragging, no formula-per-row, one charge for the batch.
- =VERVE("timezonelookup",A2:A9,"field","timezone")
No Apps Script to maintain
The usual way to get an API into Sheets is a custom function you write and maintain forever, or an IMPORT formula that breaks when a page changes. This is one function that already knows 250+ sources.
- no scripts
- no scraping
Auto-refreshing cells
Cells recalculate on a schedule — from every 30 minutes up to daily by plan — so a sheet you build once keeps itself current. Manual refresh is always a click away.
- 30 min → daily
One key across Sheets & Excel
Sign in once with a single Verve key and it powers every cell in every spreadsheet, on both platforms. One account, one bill that reads APIVERVE.

What you can pull into Sheets
Pick a category, pass a name, get a value — one function reaches all of it.
Money & markets
Exchange rates, currency conversion, crypto and metal prices, stock indices and earnings — into a cell, refreshed to the minute.
- =VERVE("currencyconverter",100,"USD","EUR")
- =VERVE("goldprice")
Weather
Current conditions, forecasts, marine and air-quality readings for any city or coordinate — straight into your model.
- =VERVE("weatherforecast","London","field","tempC")
Places & geo
Geocode addresses, reverse-geocode coordinates, distances, timezones, demographics and cost-of-living — point one at a range and fill the column.
- =VERVE("timezonelookup",A2:A9,"field","timezone")
News & world
World headlines, historical events, holidays and precise world time to timestamp and annotate your sheet.
- =VERVE("news","technology")
- =VERVE("worldtime","Tokyo")
Language & text
Translate a column, score sentiment, fix grammar or summarize a cell of text — data cleaning without leaving the sheet.
- =VERVE("translator",…)
Web & domains
DNS, WHOIS, SSL and domain checks — validate a list of sites or enrich a lead sheet in place.
- =VERVE("whoislookup",…)
- =VERVE("sslchecker",…)
